What We do
We buy energy databases from the government, refine them, and re-sell them online. We also manage pipeline and facility data for oil companies. We do this through a creative combination of data and graphics, proprietary software, and a web-based interface. Our client list includes many of the top ten oil companies.
We have an immediate need for the following positions:
As the Regulatory Technologist, you will need to be familiar with Directive 056 and processing routine and non-routine regulatory applications for pipelines to the EUB, support to our client¡¯s projects by assisting in the creation of Flow Schematics and completing monthly updates to the Facility Asset Manager. You will also be required to provide support to Visible 1-Call Ticket Management.

Qualifications
Experience with Directive 56, and completing regulatory applications to the ERCB
BC OGC experience preferred
Familiar with the Dominion Land Survey and National Topographic Survey systems
Internet and computer literacy: advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word), Adobe Acrobat, Visio
Minimum of 2 years experience in a regulatory role
Responsibilities
Analyze the Flow Schematics and identify all regulatory applications needed to bring the data into regulatory compliance
Submit regulatory applications to the ERCB as per Directive 56
Liaise with clients and maintain correspondence with them
Update existing Flow Schematics on a monthly basis
Create Flow Schematics for oil and gas gathering systems using ERCB Data: i.e. Pipeline Attribute Data, Licensed and Non-Licensed Facility Data, etc.
Visit field offices to review Flow Schematics with the operators
Maintain well-organized project files
Pick up information and maps at the ERCB
Provide support to the other team members when needed
